Tip: Right click (or Ctrl Click on a Mac) on one of the links below and select "Save Target As ..." to save a copy of the Excel template file to your computer.

  • Simple Grade Book Template Use this template if you don't know Excel very well. The steps for making a grade book, which includes an attendance sheet, are given in the Excel Grade Book PowerPoint presentation. which I will use in the TLC Workshop. Updated for Fall 2006.
    • The TLC web site has templates for Fall 2006 and Winter 2007, too.
    • Short, narrated demonstration on the steps for creating an attendance sheet using the Simple Grade Book Template. Tip: Print out the PowerPoint handout linked above before you view the demonstration. Make sure the sound on your computer is turned up and feel free to pause the demonstration and complete the steps as it plays.
  • More Advanced Grade Book Template This template has more features and requires knowledge of Excel. It was created by Katherine McDermott at SCCC and is offered with her permission. No updates have been made to the dates since Winter 2004.
  • Grades by Percentage This template was given to me by Frank Enfinger, former faculty member in the IT Department. It requires knowledge of Excel.
  • Grades by Points This is another template that I got from Frank Enfinger and, again, it requires knowledge of Excel.
